Alright ima settle some beef between 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸, I’m Canadian btw. So Juno beach was took in 2 hours and it was heavily defended yes, As for USA they had a major impact and definitely had major acts but Canada was a crucial industrial producer, a strategic military ally, and a critical supplier of raw materials and food to the USA, USA had the greater military power but USA couldn’t have functioned like they did without being allies with Canada. Both countries were vital to each other because then both countries were great allies preforming to the highest they could to help each other. Now put it this way if Japan never allied with Germany the axis would have won because USA would have never joined, and Germany could have taken russia because of the sheer military advantage they had in technology.

btw all saying America dominated need education. Canada dominated. They had the second hardest beach, the least amount of deployed troops, but by the end they ended up pushing the Germans back the most out of all countries participating in D-Day

Omaha beach was the hardest, but Juno was the second but Canada were still the first to finished and were the only one to go this far in one day... they were the stormtrooper of WWII
