You can use styrofoam coolers and cut 2 circle holes on different sides for an entrance/exit. It’s easier to stuff with straw bc it has a top.

you can use an old freezer for a house, take out the motor and use it at the door .. put a heat lamp in it, they stay warm and water doesn't freeze
