@patchirico1: Us humans are social creatures and our nervous systems are highly responsive to the people around us. When we are with people who are calm, cool and collected and their nervous system regulated, our own nervous systems feels this and can often mirror this state, leading to a sense of calm and regulation within us. On the other hand, when we are around people who may be stressed or dysregulated, and not so calm and not so collected, this can also impact our own nervous systems, often leading to us feeling heightened levels of stress or unease. This occurs because our nervous systems are in constant communication with one another. When we are in the presence of another person, our nervous system is sending signals to their nervous system and vice versa. This is all happening unconsciously through nonverbal cues, body language, facial expressions, subtle physiological responses etc. Our nervous systems either co-regulating together or co-dysregulating together. For facilitators and practitioners reading this, the concept of co-regulation plays a pivotal role in the work we do. By maintaining our own regulated state, we effectively speak the language of safety, stability, and support to a client’s nervous system. This enables us to understand and respond to their emotional needs, helping them feel supported and accepted. Over time, this external support fosters their ability to self-regulate. With sufficient co-regulation, self-regulation becomes possible, enhancing someone’s ability to manage stress and emotions and return to a state of balance with much more ease. . . #energyhealing #energywork #somatichealing #somatictherapy #traumahealing #traumainformed #anxietyrelief #anxietyawareness #anxietytips #StressRelief #overthinking #SelfImprovement #breathworkhealing #breathworktiktok #nervoussystemregulation #nervoussystemhealing #selfconfidence #reikihealing #peoplepleaser #positivemindset #mindfulnessmatters #mindsetshift

So true. When your triggers/traumas/insecurities trigger each other it can either implode or be the most healing relationships you ever experience.
