If you calculate expenses for his operation you would understand why 600/700 isnt a good rate. Its atleast $150 in Gas plus driver pay plus tolls/ifta fees . He got an office plus gotta put money away for rent, and maintenance for the vehicle so just in gas and driver pay hes close to 400 if not more. Say no to cheap freight

Why book such load, driver need to go NJ? Why not book a load to ohio 700 miles for a $1000 range

My company halls the salt to that place in Hudson, Massachusetts. We bring it in dump trailers and they screen,bag and palletize it to go on flatbeds - that load is worth thousands
