I had a server do this to me at a local restaurant. I went back and told them that I didn't leave a tip that she was rude and was hateful and only came to our table once. I always put a 0 with a line

That is why I always write my tip big enough you can't add to it. I use a dollar sign and the 00 after the decimal or if I left the tip in cash I will draw lines through the tip line instead of a 0.

Yeah usually when I receive bad service I draw a line on the tip so they won’t add and just put the total. I hate to do that (not tip) cuz i work as a chef and it kills me that people are like this
