the same thing with art!!! people are always like "you're so talented" or "i could never do that" and yes they could bc it's a SKILL, just like sewing or working with EVA foam or any craft honestly

Exactly. I grew up very poor and my mom made our childhood clothes. And she taught me how to sew. And in my senior year, I made graduation dresses for two friends. Now at 43, it remains useful.
