@bradbernsteinlaw: 🚨 Know the difference between an administrative and judicial warrant! 📌 Administrative warrants (signed by immigration officers) are not enforceable—schools do not have to comply. 📌 Judicial warrants (signed by a federal judge) must be followed. If immigration officers come to a school: ✅ They should be directed to the superintendent’s office (preferably off-campus). ✅ The superintendent should consult a school attorney to review the warrant. ✅ If it’s judicial, the family should be notified, and a surrender should be negotiated off-campus to avoid traumatizing students.
