Yup, had the same experience in Sicily. I’m Mexican….oooohhh! Wonderful, I love Mexico. That was in 2017. But everywhere I went in Italy, gave me that feeling of, this seems familiar.

Same! I greet them in English and Spanish and ask how they would like for me to speak to them ( if i can’t speak in their language, means a lot to them) theyalways sayESPAÑOL! There and in France 🥹☺️
