I imported for a small US company for 10 years. I had to look up every Tariff and build it into the price passed along to the consumer. We sold to major US retailers. Consumer prices will increase.

Most of the US trade deficit with Canada is for oil. Most US refineries need heavier crude, like from Canada, instead of lighter oil from US fracking. The transition would take a long time. Expect higher gasoline prices.
