THIS! Also the national museum of women in the arts in DC sits doesn’t have later hours but they DO have a library (non-checkout) that you can spend time at with all art books on theme

the largest museum in my city had a monthly late evening thing 7-11 pre-covid. like there was a dance party in one area but then you could also go see most of the exhibits & the fee was a lot cheaper

My fav job I’ve ever had was at a huge children’s museum - we had adult nights once in a while which was fun but I never got a chance to pop over to the art & history museum buildings RIGHT BESIDE US

One of my favorite memories is going to an art museum with a couple friends who were going for a class assignment. I grew up going to museums whenever we’d visit my grandmother & it was always so neat
