@thematthewhussey: If someone does something that makes you unsure of them or their intentions, instead of obsessing over whether it’s a red flag or not, use it as an “amber light.” An amber light is an invitation to the kind of honest conversation you might normally be afraid to have. And this conversation will either become a green light (keep going) or a red light (get out) depending on how someone responds. We need to have more challenging conversations in life. That’s how our love life (and every other part of our life) is going to get better.
My therapist introduced me to yellow flags, all humans make mistakes, they are just different severities! 😊

So clear. Not so easy but clear. I find I find I have trouble even realizing something was a red flag. I so often go into my own disconnect. Working on it. Thank you!

So.. I have BPD and sometimes I’ll accidentally put my foot in it and then when I’m panicking trying to apologise and explain I feel like I’m constantly a red flag even though I don’t mean to be…

It’s simple, just watch their behaviour. Having a discussion will only lead them to hiding that behaviour from you

They'll lie in conversation, watch their behaviour & if it's repeated, cut them out of your life like a cancer. Stay strong kings. That type are easily replaced.

I brought it up (albeit by text as he was away) and got told I was controlling. However, he has changed his behaviour and reduced the flirting with someone else. So I’m seeing how it goes for now

This is so true, I use this in the interview process as well. Some red flags will turn into amber lights depending on situations
