Set Design: Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld – Karl's most extra runway sets during his time at Chanel. Over his 36 years at Chanel, Lagerfeld created immersive worlds that blurred fashion, art, and fantasy. These spectacles were made possible by Etienne Russo and his visionary production house Villa Eugénie, who worked closely with Karl to dream and deliver fashion’s most theatrical runways. Set at the Grand Palais (and select global venues), his runway productions blurred fashion, theater, and art. – S/S 2008 Haute Couture “An Homage To An Iconic Jacket”: A towering white Chanel jackets lined the runway like a tweed cathedral.
