#CapCut #foryoupagе #100kviews #advice Giving a Malam twenty or thirty cedis for prayer is not wrong. Visiting the Malam’s house each day and giving him something so that he may pray for you is also not wrong. In fact, it is a good habit. But my dear respected brothers and sisters in Islam, allow me to remind you of something greater. Do you love the Malam? Do you love the student of knowledge? Do you love the one who fears Allah and whom you approach for du‘ā’? If so, then reflect: instead of always relying on another’s prayer, why not plant the tree of knowledge in your own home? If you wish to hear the song of a bird every day, you do not need to go to the market and buy a cage. Simply plant a tree in your house, and when it grows, the birds will come and sing for you. Likewise, if you wish to have continuous prayers on your behalf, send your children to the Madrasa. Nurture them with the knowledge of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Then, when you leave this world, they will pray for you, and their du‘ā’ will reach you in your grave. Remember, the Prophet ﷺ said that when a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for him. Therefore, invest in your children’s Islamic education. Teach them to love Allah, His Messenger ﷺ, and this noble deen. That is the tree whose fruits will shade you long after you are gone. May Allah grant us wisdom, righteous children, and true understanding of His deen. Āmīn.
