Spray foam Insulation and then caulk overtop. If you just caulk it you won’t address the thermal break.

If it's anywhere near those cracks in the bricks, could be big problem. otherwise foam and caulk, check for air sneaking inside with soapy water in spray bottle.

Caulk it. Make sure it’s the right caulking for the outside weather.

Didn’t you have an inspection done when you bought the house because I know you have to do that in Minnesota,it should have addressed all the issues that were going on with the house

Easy fix, backer rod from the top to the bottom, then caulk. Journey women bricklayer/pcc I wouldn’t personally use foam spray because it expands and would expand out resulting in you needing to cut

get some packing rod and fill the gap and get some contractors weater sealant caulk it and use a tooling knife to press and seal. I did it for 23 years. if you loke tape it before sealing it.

Did the inspector not mention this issue? It should have been fixed before closing…no matter who you bought the house from

Caulk it in with clear window and door sealant. Easy nothing to worry about.

Spray foam but not the one for large gaps. Insert nozzle and spray a little. Remember it expands. move nozzle to next area and spray more. do this about every 4-6 inches.

Be careful with spray foam if you put too much in it can expand too much and make it worse. You are better off with exterior weather caulking.

Spray foam and then caulk. You can use color match caulk for aesthetics

Did your home inspector notice and if so what did they say about it in the report. I saw someone say spray foam and caulk…that’s what I would do.
