@ariandgraham: This waterfall was SO amazing, and we have been dreaming of it ever since. It was a trek to get there, I will say! But so incredibly worth it. We first took a scooter to get to the falls, which took about 45 minutes from where we stayed. It was different because this was the first time we had to drive on the left side of the road! We drove past the Bali countryside, seeing many locals out in the rice terrace fields. The rainforest was INSANE and so incredibly beautiful - we passed bamboo, leaves the same height as us, and trees 20 feet wide. As we drove through the rural towns, the people were SO nice, and most of them smiled at us as we passed them. The kids would wave and yell “hello!” to us, which was so adorable. If you come to Bali, PLEASE explore the rural areas, and make the long trek to places like this waterfall! It is so worth it.
