It’s not a broken clock if it’s still moving. If it’s moving and not on the right time then it’s a mistimed clock

my mother said this about her clock "at least it's still right twice a day" and I responded "that clock does not average twice a day" her clock was broken in such a weird way where it'd move at about 1/8-1/2 the regular speed meaning that I can safely say there were definitely days that it wasn't even right once a day, Incase anyone's wondering idk what was causing it exactly but it was definitely to do with what the clock was made of and the area we lived in, cause once the battery died, it started moving backwards, and at that point it was actually right more than twice a day, I'm guessing one of the cogs was a metallic metal and something on is left side was causing it to move anticlockwise, the battery provided enough resistance to cause it to go forward but slower than normal

Unfortunately I get him. I had a broken clock that kept moving but at a slower pace so it was always off but it was more decorative than anything so I didn’t fix it.

I mean I've seen plenty of broken clocks that move but not at the right pace so the time is always off. I've also seen broken clocks that don't move at all.
