Third is how I did it and I liked it because the context in AB made things make sense. However, people who read it first are the ones that fell in love with Sam and were impacted by his death more.

I read AB later on in the series and while I feel bad for Sam's death, I just didn't get attached to him. When I re-read the series i read AB first, I felt a little more sad for his death. AB 1st! 💖
