You don’t care about humanitarian. You are only scared that Russia and China would step in. That’s all you care about anything else is just to colour code the real reason. It’s about power and using USAID to manipulate other countries and control their foreign policy. It’s good that it is taken away so countries can learn to stand on their own or get from Russia and China.

USAID also promotes democracy Rpund the world (as well as education, health, literacy, potable water, infrastructure, etc). It’s less than 1% of our national budget.

Their work is so important. I worked for seven years for USAID in Botswana for the ministry of education. It was a successful sustainable program.
