I always did room temperature for my daughter too! Everyone would nag that she wasn’t getting a “warm bottle” but homegirl drank it and it was convenient!!

The hot water kills the bacteria in the formula - look up the hot shot method!!

Sterile water is just better for their immune system, but after 2-3 months it doesn’t really need to be boiled. Filtered water is fine. Warm water is just better for digestion. Cold water is not great for the digestive system. Room temperature is still better than cold, but warm it’s technically easiest for digestion.🤷🏽♀️

We only formula fed our babies and did room temp bottles. Thats how the hospital brought the formula to us as newborns, so why start warming when we got home? Made it so much easier!

You have to kill the bacteria in formula 🙈 I honestly could not deal with the effort of formula feeding 😅

Many conventional formulas require boiling water to kill germs in the formula so that would be the only problem.

Some formula brands require the formula to be mixed with hot water to kill bacteria, some brands just require you to boil the water and let it cool so sterilize the water. Read your packaging

If you’re using tap water yes you should boil the water, since it possible bacterias, however if you’re using bottle water there’s no point in heating it, it can be fed on normal temperature.

We do cold milk. Best part is it can go right in the fridge after if they don’t drink all of it.
