There’s less overall risk with awake liposuction though. Anytime a person is put under (e.g. general anesthesia) there is a higher risk of complications, such as death.

Mine gave me the option of both. I chose awake. He didn’t a great job but I don’t recommend it depends on your pain tolerance as well.

I had the worst experience with awake Liposuction at Sono Bella. I had a bad reaction to the medication and they just wanted to shove me out of the door after only 30 minutes
