@justinveenema: Come watch me fail 🫣 One of the most common questions I get asked is “how often do people say no?” Honestly, it varies. 🤷‍♂️ Sometimes, I go out and not a single person says “no”. Other times, I go out and not a single person says “yes”. But as much as the rejections suck, I try not to let them get to me. Because as soon as someone says YES… it makes it all worthwhile. Take Sabrina for example. I met her in Waikiki beach along with her dog, Bob Barker. Sabrina is a ray of sunshine. ☀️ She was warm, witty and super friendly - and said “of course!” when I offered to take a portrait of Bob. Then she helped me pose him so we could capture his best angles. 📸 When I asked if she wanted a photo together - she said she didn’t want to take any of the spotlight away from him. After all, this was his time to shine!! 🕺 Honestly, I was feeling a little defeated after getting rejected all day… So meeting Bob & Sabrina was the highlight of my day.
