@brutamerica: A spearfisher narrowly avoided a dangerous encounter with a venomous sea snake. The waters of Okinawa are home to the black-banded sea krait, known locally as the erabu umi hebi. These snakes are typically found in coral reef areas and are identifiable by their small heads and striped bodies.
