Use synthetic roofing underlayment. Much cheaper and waterproof. Just did this on a basement remodel and it was amazing

You’ve basically become my favorite DIY/Contractor on TT. Dude, attention to detail, prep, etc…it’s a lot of work but I think one of if not the most important step. And, your work is incredible.
