I was on the negative end of the reactions.It was a bold visual choice but for me, alienating and robbed the film of impact.The book is superb and I admire the swing but it was a miss for me.

I liked the movie. The device and split storytelling didn’t do much for me. I prefer Ross’ Hale County documentary, that was more successful.

Wanted to love it but didn’t work at all for me. Lots of odd choices and direction. Couldn’t even tell you after 2.5 hours why the two leads were even friends 🤷
