i always stay in Akasaka! there are always restaurants and bars open late right by our favorite hotel too since it’s where a lot of businessmen hang out after work.

I think Shinjuku is actually great given what a busy metro hub it is, especially if you’re prioritizing locations like Harajuku, Shibuya, Kichijoji or want to take a day trip out to Kanagawa.

Can't say I agree, staying in Shinjuku was pretty convenient and affordable. We loved exploring near the hotel in our downtime. Finding good food was effortless.

Bro shinjuku was fine 40 minutes walking from shibuya and 20 min or less by train from ginza and many more.

Stayed in Shinjuku at the Groove Hotel in Kabukicho Tower. Definitely think it’s worth and I would do it again. Would also recommend you not spend your entire stay in Tokyo at one hotel.
