A dual pc is way easier and better in the long run. and it won't save you money at all. you can build a dual set up for the same price to build a single people that can proform at the same level.

dual streaming always sounded like a nightmare, recently built a pc strong enough to handle multiple stream outputs at HD, newer technology and better nvidia encoders r clutch

I think people over complicate things because a 2 PC setup is like streaming on console. Your gaming PC just acts as a console. Everything should be on your streamer besides games

I'm in exactly this case but the upgrade I'd need is a 1200€ 5080 or 4080 super. I'm building an entire PC with capture card, audio routing and a monitor for the same price and it will eliminate all the issues I have with gaming and streaming at the same time. If you just want to run a single encode to Twitch with nothing fancy and easy to run games 1 PC is enough, but anything more and it's needed.

I have a dual PC setup but not for streaming. I have my main PC in the living room for gaming and then I have a PC my for sim racing rig in the basement 😁

Streaming on the same PC that you're playing on has a significant performance impact, so if you care about frames/frame time it's definitely worth having a second PC for streaming.

You should try Linux if you enjoy learning/problem solving like this :) now’s a better time than ever with windows 10 approaching eol and you can make way cooler setups when you get it down

you'll get more consistent gaming performance and the more reliable stream with two PCs. you just need to properly research what to buy to make it work good like don't use the external elgato products

I used to have one and it’s not that bad. I just use voice meter to route both audios but I just use another mouse and keyboard for my dual setup. I only liked it bc it didn’t mess with performance
