00s really expressed a youthful and funky style for young adult women (19-25). Now that same age range dresses as if they’re in their 30s-40s. The funky youthful look slowly disappears.

Interesting, but doesn’t rlly apply to younger gen imo. I think the nostalgia factor might explain the interest from late gen Z/early alpha for y2k style but for a different reason than security 1/

interesting take…i think it could also just be the cyclical nature of fashion where in something bold becomes not bold when everyone is wearing so the stylish begin adopting a new style

For me it actually is a style choice. I don't really like trends, so I focus on good quality classic pieces, that suit my body 🌷 But what you said is true of course.

Same with interior design! Ppl have wanted to moved away from modern/sleek open all white and stainless steel. Ppl are thrifting and basically making their homes reminiscent of their grandparents home
