Crate in the bedroom then slowly over time move it further away from you, you’ll get there eventually. Puppy stage is brutal, you’ve got this

Cry it out method with dogs are universal. Definitely don’t recommend. Teaching your dog to enjoy and like the crate first is the biggest step with positive reinforcement

as a dog walker myself if you ever need a dog walker crate training makes a huge difference, some dogs unfortunately can't be walked as they they crates. Keep it up! it will be very beneficial ❤️

As someone who fosters dogs and puppies, crate training is one of the best things you can instill from the youngest age possible. It’s a lifesaver with multiple dogs & introducing new dogs

Keep going!!! Being crate trained is so important which you know from your other comments. Does he nap in the crate? I would put him in for most of the day to sleep

It does get better, I promise 🤞🏼 we had the same, and bought a sheep teddy which had a heartbeat in it which we put in our puppy’s crate and from that point on she stopped crying all night. Just a wee tip from our experience in case you want to try 🩷

We crate trained our pup but we had an open cage around the crate so he could move around and play if he wanted to aswell, he only cried for 2 hours on the first night and nothing since🥰
