This is why I say the original sin was placing blame and lacking accountability. God asked about Adam's disobedience and he blamed Eve without being accountable for his own actions.

Exactly and if you look at the order when God gave out his curses it was the Serpent, Adam then Eve! Accountability Adam!

Genesis 3:6 states that Adam was with her when she ate the fruit, yes. It doesn’t say he was there when she was talking to the serpent. We only know the serpent to have been talking with Eve and we know that Eve tried to quote God’s commandment to the serpent in 3:2, which implies she was already aware of it despite not being there when God originally commanded it to Adam. They both knew. We also know that in 3:17, God charged Adam with listening to Eve specifically, instead of being obedient, which could imply a short time passing in between Eve talking to the serpent and then Eve talking to Adam & both of them eating the fruit. We know that Eve’s sin was through deception, Adam’s sin was through disobedience to God. Adam blamed Eve, he did not blame the serpent for the deception. So can we really say that Adam was standing there passively listening with Eve while she was talking to the serpent? 1 Timothy 2:14 says that “Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became the sinner.”
