Brotha you do not need the wedge piece or even the pin. Just use the wedge block next time. It will hold both phasers very solidly. As a chrysler tech these are very much gravy engines and jobs.

I’ve done this job DIY in a Cherokee. Was cake work just take your time, and don’t forget your torque wrench 👍🏻

only tool you need for this job is the phaser gear lock..little tip take 1 phaser off replace that cam slide on pull other off then torque down

check the oil gally bolts just to bottom of inside phasers.

Never go past 5000 on oil changes and they never seem to fail. The oil cooler is another story I’ve replaced 2 on the same car.

I replaced just the lifters and. Rockers: had a worn camshaft and have put 20,000km on it with no audible problems so far 🤞🏻

you may have read it in service info, but, be careful w/ those cams. don't go near any magnets w/ them. the cam sensor pickups are sensitive
