@dallasfunfam: 🌟 Museum for kids who love fire trucks: Dallas Firefighters Museum🌟 📍 3801 Parry Ave, Dallas, TX 75226 Why we love it: ❤️ The mission of the Dallas Firefighters Museum is to collect, preserve, and present the history and cultural heritage of the fire service of Dallas and to provide fire prevention and safety education to the public, especially children. ❤️ Kids can wear a fire jacket and firefighter hat during the tour! ❤️ You’ll see fire engines and memorabilia dating as far back as the 1800s! Some of the engines are even open for kids to sit in and ring the bell 🔔 ❤️ Make sure to visit the theater where kids can watch a fire safety video. ❤️ It’s a fairly small museum, but my kids were entertained for over an hour! Good to know: - This museum is operated by active-duty and retired firefighters! They are passionate about teaching others and ensuring that the memory of fallen firefighters will not be forgotten. - The museum is open Wednesday thru Saturday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. - Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children. - This museum is not stroller friendly as there are stairs and some tight squeezes around the trucks. Leave the stroller behind if you can!
