@melmindfulmoves: Finding your neutral pelvis should be the foundation before start training for other movements, that’s what i always emphasize in my class. So how do you find your neutral pelvis position? ✅ By laying on a flat surface on a yoga mat. Do not recommend doing on bed as it might be too soft, or on the floor which might be too hard and uncomfortable for some. ✅ Keep pelvis parallel to the floor, leg as wide as your hips ✅ Keep knees and hips align you do not adduct or abduct ✅ As you exhale, pelvis tilts back, lower back lightly touch on the mat as your tailbone lifts off the mat ✅ When you inhale, slowly returning to neutral position, extend the waist and pubic bone toward the heels now lower back will arch, ribs flare By practicing and creating more awareness in this, we can correctly control our abdominal and core engagement and strength.
