lean a piece of plywood against the house to cover them so you dont have to worry about it

lots of good com comments. I personally would put some evergreen bushes or something around there to break the wind as well as provide space for the ventilation.

Me, with a fully electric house 😌. The snowdrifts are crazy and my heat pump is being encroached on but no monoxide to worry about 😌😌
