Whole life is great for estate planning, tax free income in retirement, etc: it’s not suitable for everyone’s goals or budget but blanket statement of it being a scam is crazy lol

Not sure why you say it’s a scam. My whole life insurance policy will be worth 850k when I’m done it’s worth 75K a year tax free when I’m done. Cost me $400 a month. Pretty damn good deal

What happens when your term policy expires and you’re no longer insurable? halfway through your term policy and diagnosed? You’ll wish you bought WL not for the investment, but the permanent aspect

My mother in law had term life right up until she turned 62 (maybe 65). At which point they raised her payment really high and when she declined, they kept all the money she'd paid into the policy.
