I see this both ways . I had neighbors that would jump off beds at 12-1 am almost EVERY night . Sounded like they were gonna come through the ceiling . Dragging chairs back and forth etc . As early as 6 am . If you’re kids want to act like there’s 20 kids upstairs and you have TWO maybe get a house

my downstairs neighbor and I texting each other that it might be noisy for whatever reason. 😂😂 she tells me their using power tools I tell her when my husband and kid are rambunctious 😂

i had this issue dude moved in after us and would beat his ceiling, which was my floor scaring my child starting 6pm i because my child was running around playing my child was 13 mmts old

Why not request a downstairs apartment? I get it, live where you want and can afford, but wouldn’t you want peace for you & your neighbors? It’s just considerate but maybe I’m wrong.

We had a kid in an apt I’m sure we were loud we went out of our way to be cautious etc and resolve tension - sometimes you can control it though

The only thing that’s ever bothered me is my old neighbors would party until 4am playing the loudest music yelling and screaming inside and outside constantly and our son was less than a year old

I'm totally fine w/ normal living sounds but the baby below us sounds like they are actively getting tortured 24/7 and we hear the mom mocking them and blasting music which makes it worse.

I'm childfree and work overnights at a hospital. They politely ignore my moving around and alarms at all hours. I politely ignore their shrieking children and banging around. None of it is malicious.

Newest update since I stay getting notifs for this lol- we have new neighbors below us! They're a wonderful family who also has two young kiddos! We have all become friends and I couldn't be more at peace.🥰☮️things really do work out.
