Aww I had microdiscectomy done few years ago. Same as you, stayed extra cos blood pressure was low. Healing wise, try not to stay in a seated position for at least 2 weeks. Lie down or standing is ok

redness might just be reaction to tape/adhesive, and pain meds probably are causing the lack of appetite. so glad u got to go home

The red patch on your face would be from the surgery as you would be lying down on the table so it would be from the cushion you had your face on I had the same thing
