alot of times you create the world building for you and only share in the story what's necessary. Incarnate for free or cheap maps. you should spend some time developing your world history for you.

1) keep the window of perspective close to the MC. how they view, interact and disagree with the world will primarily be the world building introduction.

Hi - had a lot of genre fiction published, everyone’s different but my advice would be to keep the world building to the minimum needed to tell yr story&use placeholders where necessary to get it done
