Islam doesn't allow men to lie, cheat, and deceive their wives. This is common sense and part of the ethics, morals, and spirit of Islamic teachings. And the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) never hid any of his wives, nor did any of his Companions. Let's be honest with ourselves, many brothers want to sleep with multiple women without responsibility, so they (mis)use religion and scholarly opinions to justify it. We should fear Allah to the best of our abilities and not play around with the deen with this "Islam by technicality" approach as @azthehistorian explained in a previous IG Live.
