Ah yes when you are a wood or metal worker and can’t find a match or lighter turn on the over get out the blow torch and light the bday candles that way (my dad actually had to do this once lol)

Couldn't you have saved time an effort by melted the wax into the tube then just put the string in and let it solidify an warm the tube an pull it all out?

you should just leave the wick in there and when the wax cools put the pipe in the freezer for about 3 hours and it will come out in one Peace

couldn't you have broken the wax on smaller pieces or melted it in a pot and then poured it in the tube?

That is the most stressful method of melting wax I’ve ever seen. Please use a double boiler. Beeswax can burst into flames from exposure to direct heat

would it melt differently if you plug the tube at the bottom and leave the wick in it while it cooled and then just push it out?
