The war in Ukraine has never been our war. If there is one country that has overthrown democratically elected governments and invaded sovereign states in the past century, it is the United States. Back then, it wasn’t “our war” either—on the contrary, Western nations supported the U.S. government and the neoconservative agenda.
Ukraine is not fighting for Western values, just as Russia isn’t. This conflict is about geopolitical power struggles. The war in Ukraine is a classic proxy war, with the United States pursuing its strategic interests. President Zelensky came to power through dubious means and never fulfilled his promise to make peace with Russia. Critical media and political opposition have been silenced or banned. Ukraine is not a functioning democracy and ranks among the most corrupt countries in the world.
Under false pretenses, billions in taxpayer money have been sent, while Nord Stream was blown up as a "thank you." Yes, Russia invaded a sovereign country, but when the U.S. invaded its neighbors—Afghanistan, Iraq, and other Middle Eastern nations—that was suddenly not considered a violation of sovereignty?
Whoever controls the narrative controls how the facts are presented. Why do Western countries, for instance, support Israel but not the Palestinian people? The arguments we are given are constructed and politically driven. The so-called threat posed by Russia is no different from that of the United States. Politicians who claim otherwise have their own agenda.🤔
