@trynsomethingnew: I wish I was Worldschooling when I was a kid! Back in 2016 we were exposed to something called worldschooling, we had never heard of it before, but we’re totally intrigued. Back when I was a kid I struggled in school so much. I absolutely hated being in a classroom. I didn’t know it back then, but I had ADD to the max. I always wondered why it was so hard for me to focus sitting in a seat for hours upon hours a day. I would read page after page and not be able to retain anything because my mind was in a million different places at the same time. Looking back now I wish I had known what was going on and was given the tools to be a successful student. Turns out sitting in a classroom was an absolute detriment to my learning abilities. I think about all of the cool things we do with our kids now and can only imagine how much I would’ve thrived. When we travel to new countries, there is an an endless amount of excitement, exploration, adventure, and tons of opportunities for us to learn and not just the kids, but Jimi and myself as well. My hope for this year is to inspire others to travel more and try new things! No matter what it is, it’s amazing to keep the adventure alive inside all of us!
