I wish I had writing foresight. I call myself a post-outliner. I write the rough draft and then cull the essence from there.

I do this but I’m sections instead of chapters because with the formatting of my book it’s a little difficult to go by chapter. So it’s usually about 14 sections for my current WIP

I do this too but it’s bulletpoints of the events in chronological order. I don’t need it for every chapter but it helps when I have writers block

I wrote my entire story (pantser) and it amounted to 8 books worth. that was my outline. now I'm rewriting everything having a better idea. it's crazy how different methods work for everyone. 💪🏼

I’ll do the dialogue trick too sometimes, then I can just come back and add in all the descriptive stuff later and work around the conversation so it flows more naturally 😁
