@beathashitemba: 54.8% unemployment in Namibia. Only 3% earn above N$40,000. Hey Namibia! Those numbers aren't just statistics – they're a wake-up call. But I'm not here to talk problems, I'm here to talk SOLUTIONS. Look around you. Every successful business in our country started with someone who decided to create their OWN opportunity. You don't need a fancy degree or big capital to start. What you need is to identify a NEED in your community and fill it. Mobile repair, food delivery, crafts, cleaning services, social media management for local businesses - the possibilities are endless! Here's why NOW is the time: Our economy needs new ideas. Our communities need services. And YOU need income that YOU control. Start small. Use your talents. Network with others. Learn as you go. Fail fast and try again. Drop a comment with your business idea, and I'll help brainstorm how to get started with minimal resources. Tag someone who needs to see this. Namibia's future isn't about finding jobs - it's about CREATING them. #NamibianEntrepreneur #StartYourBusiness #BeYourOwnBoss #NamibiaTikTok #SideHustle #SmallBusinessNamibia

I use to sell cooked food, to be precise marathon chickens and goat heads with its trotters but my business died from people who want to take food on credit yet aren’t willing to pay extra.

I will never buy a house with a bank. Really doesn’t make sense to me. Situation is bad so we need to balance our finances to cope. These days we cant have all that we want, sacrifices have to be made

That's good advice, but GRN should look at ways of reducing unemployment, businesses won't thrive if the general population doesn't have buying power

I'm sure unemployment is actually in the 60 - 70%, its difficult to start a business when people don't have money to spend, the possibilities are not endless stop lying to people.

"A lot of money" is a very subjective statement. If your income is a means to consume more things, then even at 100k a month you'll complain.

That is Windhoek problems, the majority of the country is fine. City has an overbloated wage bill and they cater for it with overinflated land and municipality cost which drives up cost of living.
