1styr was terrible. 30-40 students. Most at risk students. Failing school. Lab equipment from 1970’s. Had to lock most things up.. put a camera up in my room for my own safety 😬

My first year my mentor teacher quit a few weeks into the year and did the same thing. I snuck into her room and stole everything good before anyone else could. Have never regretted it lol.

And then you get the rooms where you inherit from a teacher that’s retiring and you find curriculum from 30 years before you were even born. Pretty sure there is better and newer out there.
