I’m from NJ (North Jersey) and she is right. It’s called Venetian hour. It is extra desserts. I got married in 1988 and I can’t remember what my parents paid.

We got married in 1971 our reception was at Micali Terrace in Brooklyn $25 per head we had the Venetian hour, .2 bands, mandolin players and Anna Fontacia singing. We had 465 guests. Yes a book.
