What is the recovery time looking like? My partner has multiple herniated discs. Been left for years with it and finally getting somewhere with GP and seeing spinal specialist in April.

my 2nd lower back discectomy and decompression i ended up with 30 staples dreading them taking the disc out but needs must,speedy recovery for you

I had a back op 4yrs ago for 2 slip discs. recovery is long but if you do it right the rewards are worth it. being completely pain free and "normal ' is the best thing ever. just keep being positive.

As a 27 year old that had the same procedure almost 3 weeks ago, the first 4-5 days were the absolute worst for me. I’m still having occasional pains, but it has gradually gotten better over time.

I had this same surgery when I was 22! I’m 33 now 😬 best thing that ever happened to me, no more sciatica or any other issues since! Persevere with recovery and you’ll be brand new mate! As you say… magical!

I’m currently dealing with a pinched nerve and waiting on approval for injections with the plan for potential surgery if they don’t work and it’s so good to see some one surviving the surgery and pain
