Beagles are so mistreated. They use beagles for animal testing cause they’re such a forgiving breed. My beagle has never growled at me, or anything else before. She’s the best.

As someone who grew up with VERY spoiled hunting dogs, I am absolutely appalled. We had a couple who were terrible hunters but were still very beloved.

I lived in NC in BFE. this happened often!! If the dogs weren’t good at hunting they’d just leave them. They often ended up at my house. Had almost 10 dogs at one point. They were all super sweet!

Okay so I can speak on this as my moms bf owns land hunters hunt on: there are three types of hunting dog owners: 1) treat the dog like a pet, love it, etc. 2) dog stays outside in kennels, not treat

I sadly see this alot in my state. Dogs kept in cages until hunting season then back in the cage until hunting season. The shelters are full of older hunting dogs.

I've been around alot of hound hunters and never have i met a hunter that kills them after. hunters have such a huge negative stigma it's sad that everyone believes they are evil.
