actually you're wrong. doing pilates like exercises RIGHT, builds muscle and is one of the best ways to get stronger and leaner, yet more slim, toned and smaller. combined with cardio and a good diet ofc. while lifting heavy weights can buff up the thighs and absolutely burn fat too, when combined with other stuff again. it really depends a lot on exactly what ur goal is. but I'm so tired of gym and weight lifting people making fun of or talking down pilates.
