Medical school for ob/gyn’s should do more training or there needs to be gyn’s for menopause only patients because most drs do not believe your symptoms!

Surgical menopause is not talked about enough either and it is brutal. You wake up from surgery and bam! you're in it. Even trying to explain to other women and kept getting told to see a naturopath to balance my hormones. I DONT HAVE HORMONES....It took me 12months, 6 doctors to get the right amount of HRT....I was told I had rheumatoid arthritis and anxiety and chronic fatigue....I fought for myself... I'm as close to my old self as I can be but also have my days....I'm very lucky I have a supportive husband....

My male manager is 100% supportive. I'll admit to being cynical about that at first, but I've risked going to him with one of my symptoms that's affecting my work, and he's listened with empathy and understanding, and above all has allowed me to lead a solution that works for me. Amazing. He said he's trying to learn as much as he can so he support his wife at home, and has thanked me for being open to helping him understand. In return, he has my upmost respect.

I tried so hard to discuss how I was feeling about menopause with my husband, especially about intimacy. He said he understood but at the same time got super angry and called me selfish because twice a week wasn’t enough. He has now left. Thank you for putting this video out there and educating the men.

My husband tries to be supportive but he still expects things to be like they were intimately and it can’t be that way anymore. He says he knows but he doesn’t because he still wants what he wants.🤦🏼♀️

The only person that would listen to me was a holistic doctor but unfortunately our insurance doesn't cover holistic doctors. That needs to change.

Life can be so cruel. I was going through perimenopause all while watching my mom die of Alzheimer’s and then 3 yrs later my dad died from a long battle with cancer. I was so unsupported at home! 😥

My husband told me if I lost weight I wouldn’t be so hot. Currently sitting in the bedroom on my days off with the portable A/C because I need to learn to compromise. I don’t think 73 is too cold 😢
