on am5 you actually have to go out of your way to get 2 8gig sticks and am4 is still perfectly capable and yes you can totally fill up more than 16 gigs of ram, god do your research

backwards logic here.. ddr4 should have 32 but for budget 16 is fine. ddr5 will do fine with 16gb because you have a newer more efficient cpu + faster ram.

For gaming only, 16gb works just fine, if you're streaming, or likes to watch something on the side, 32gb is the way to go, editing you really want to think about 64gb, but 32gb works just fine

If you are casually gaming and doing a bit of work you are 100% completely fine with 16gb of ram. You don’t “need” 32😂😂
